Module Content
The
spread betting modules consist of three levels, Novice, Advanced
and Day-trader. After completing your initial
assessment we will have gained a good idea of what level you
ARE at (that is, not what level you THINK you are at) and
will be able to recommend the most suitable course
available.
Module
3a
- Spread betting - Novice
Designed
completely for people who have a little understanding but
virtually no experience trading financial instruments using
a spread bet. The module clearly and succinctly
provides an introduction into the most popular and current tools
for trading the financial markets, including Financial
Futures, Contracts for Difference, Stocks, and of course Spread betting.
The module
explains some of the basic principles you will be required
to learn before being able to trade consistently and to
achieve consistent returns.
The E-book
contains a 50 page course manual which is also contained on
the CD-Rom. The course material covers the following;
3.1 An
introduction to spread betting
3.2
Advantages and Disadvantages
3.3 Spread
betting platforms and trade execution
3.4 An
introduction to the Tradesearcher trading programme
.
3.5 Tips on
successful intraday trading and strategies used by the pro's
3.6 An
introduction to basic money management and risk management
systems.
Module 3b - Spread betting - Advanced
The intermediate
module builds on what has been covered in the introductory
module but places greater emphasis on developing consistent
winning bets using more complex trading strategies.
The course material covers the following;
4.1
Entry/Stop determinants using three of the most common
trading systems compared to our own Tradesearcher trader
programme. This provides step by step analysis of how
the Tradesearcher programme will specify exact entry and stop
levels as well as target levels on all time frames.
4.2 Trade
execution training - how to choose the best trading
platforms and what you will need to know to be able to
develop your skills as a trader.
4.3 Trade
development plan - we provide a comprehensive plan for
developing you spread betting trading skills. As part
of the PTS we will be able to monitor your progress and
provide the necessary help should you require it.
This is a
fundamental part of your development as a trader and one
often overlooked by novice spread betters. Trading in
the financial markets successfully requires dedication,
commitment and discipline. Starting as a trader is
like starting any other business, you need to know what your
goals are, and need to plan how you are going to achieve
them over realistic time frames. Our Trading
development plan provides a fundamental framework to being
able to develop as a trader and is used by many professional
traders as we speak.
Other components
include:
4.4 External
factors influencing price movements
4.5
Economic/Political events and their impact
4.6 25% discount
on the Personal Coaching Service (PCS)
Module 4a - Spread betting - Intra-day strategies
This module is
designed for the experienced trader. One of the
reasons we make the effort to find out what level of
experience you have before recommending a particular module,
is simply because it would be a waste of our time and effort
to train people who have not yet learnt the skills necessary
to grasp some of our more complex programmes.
The intraday
package comes in the form of either a 2 day course or as a
comprehensive training guide on CD-Rom. The course
includes a one year FREE SUBSCRIPTION to the
Personal Training Service (PCS) where traders will get full support
on any aspect of the material covered in the course.
The course consists
of an intensive 2 day real time event, where students
(limited to 7 per class) are invited to watch our coach's
trade real-time using real money. If we lose, you will
see it. The aim is to show the full trade cycle from
initial analysis, trade entry, stop loss and money
management execution, to the final 'closing' trade. On
the second day you will be asked to trade using the
principles shown to you on day one in a simulated real-time
environment where you will pit you trading skills against
others in the group. Remember, all trading is
essentially a competition where you are trying to win, and
where somebody else normally has to lose. Learning to
compete and compete well is essential and we have found that
as well as being fun, trading against some of your peers on
the course, in some way replicates the intensity of real
trading.
The intensive nature of the Day-trading module means that
places and courses are limited. We strongly advise you
book well in advance to reserve your place. You will
also be asked to place a small deposit. This is to
protect ourselves and other course attendees against time
wasters.
The Day-trading courses will be held only once a month and
will take place on a Thursday and Friday.
Accommodation is
not included, but discounted rates for overnight stays at
one of either two nearby (four star) hotels are available.
Food and refreshments will be provided throughout the day
all students are invited to a meal after the course on the
Friday evening if they wish.
